Mr. Cassada is excited to start his first year at Hillyard. He is originally from Danville, VA, but he and his wife and 1 year-old daughter have lived in the valley since 2016. A graduate of Bridgewater College, Mr. Cassada taught in Danville for two years and at Montevideo Middle School for seven years. He has also coached a variety of sports throughout his teaching career and has been an adjunct faculty member at JMU. Mr. Cassada loves rooting for the Atlanta Braves and Virginia Tech Hokies. He is so thankful for the opportunity to serve the students of JFHMS.
