“All Our Best….All the Time
Extra-curricular activities, clubs, and fine arts organizations extend far beyond the classroom, and give you an opportunity to be involved in your school and to develop your special talents.    Students at JFHMS are provided many opportunities to become involved in extra-curricular activities and clubs.

Hawks Hang Out Clubs
Different clubs and after-school events are provided each year through Hawks Hang Outs, when different teachers become involved in sharing their hobbies and interests with students.  Hawks Hang Out activities in the past have included interests such as "Let's Rock this World", "Coding Club",  "Creative Writing", "Cards and Cribbage", "Running Club", "Outdoor Club",  and  "Diversity Club".  Students in all grade levels  will be invited to sign up for Hawks Hang Outs early in the school year.  The meeting dates for the 2017-18 school year are available in the school office, the schedules are different for several of the clubs, based on seasons and field trips.

The SCA and Hawks Heroes are groups are selected by special process.   Both of these groups and offer opportunities for students to  assist within the building, and lead others through out the school year.

Several after school dances are scheduled for all  students during the school year.  Students must be in good school standing under our PBIS program, to attend.  JFH dances offer students the choice to dance in the large gym or play basketball in the small gym, all while spending some fun "down time" with friends.    Admission to dances is $3.00;  concessions are also available for purchase, as are Gourmet Lollipops and Buddy Pictures.
